So I do everything I need to - turn off both ps3's connect ethernet go to data transfer and then let it do its thing - but when I go on mw2 on my 3.60 ps3 SLIM there is no hacked patch????? Can anyone help me!!??

Well,do you have mw2 patch 1.12?
Maybe your trying to use a 1.11 patch on 1.12?

I'm typing this out real fast, if it doesn't work you're doing it wrong:

1) If the full patch(more than just patch_mp.ff) isn't already on your 3.41 PS3, download it on your PC using a PKG Downloader(Google it) and install it like you would any PKG.

2) Use FTP or File Manager to overwrite the existing patch_mp.ff under (roughly) "hdd0 >> game >> (whatever your CoD's ID is) >> USRDIR >> patch_mp.ff".

3) Now check under game data utility it isn't corrupted, and maybe run CoD quickly just to check you're not gonna get black-screen.

4) Turn on the 3.60 PS3 & connect the ethernet cable between both consoles & go ahead with the whole data transfer process. Make sure you don't do it the wrong way around, I did that the first time! lol

5) It should now be on your 3.60 PS3, if it's not then you screwed up or one of your consoles is broken to a hideous extent :p

P.S. And yeah if you're referring to MW2, check that the patch is 1.12 and not 1.11.
