I dont think you can play MGO online with rebug because you have togo IN TO THE GAME to download the patch it doesnt show up when you boot the game. so there for no.

just change you np enviroment to np then go to game install patch then switch back to sp-int

to play mgs4 online you need to download the patch from THEIR servers so it is linked to your account, you also need a valid konami id to link to your person, if your using a backup then chances are it wont work online! the game costs next to nothing now so you would be better off just buying it

I had the same problem as well. I'm guessing your on a CFW? If so I believe thats the reason why. For some reason MGO is not compatible with a CFW.

you get the update from inside the games menu!!! it is linked to your psn account!!! it is hosted on konami's servers!!!!! so nobody can upload it for you!!!! plus the update is well over 1gig+!!!! so if you want to play onlne GET THE RETAIL DISC!!!! it is the only way you can play it online!!!
