I've done everything in the tut, my Ps3 is connected to the internet because i can browse the internet, i also get messages scrolling across the box in the top right hand corner of my screen by the clock, little gold plus is displayed but when i try to play black ops online i get message saying call of duty black ops server is not available at the moment, blur is also like this and homefront cannot find any games in progress. Is anybody else having the same problems and is there a solution?? thanks for your time, much appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply, i have downloaded the black ops server rar file but where do i put the two files from the download. They look like they should be used on a pc as one is an exe file. Do i need a pc running to get online with cod then??

yes m8 sorry yes you do it need to be started up on pc m8 the go to internet setting change your dns the top 1 to you ip and then change the second dns to 8.8.8.8 then it should work m8

So it works similar to fukpsn then?? ah man that's hassle, my laptops not connecting to internet at the moment for some strange reason and i use my Samsung galaxy S to tether in the first place. That means once I've sorted my laptop out i'll have to tether my phone to my laptop then connect my Ps3 to my laptop, lol, what a mission!! i wont be beat though and i will get online.
