Post: i need help with playing split back up games??

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey i am needing help with my backup i am about to back up a 40gb game ufc and last time i did this it said could not play any help

i am wanting to back it up to external not internal what should i do is there a split game fix

have you try the latest version of multiman.... the autor claim that the manager have improved that stuff

thats what i am tryin now is to see if the latest works bc when i tryed last time it was when there was psn access lol so old multiman its got a hour left of backing up thanks for you help

It doesnt matter what size it is. All that matters is if there are 'big files' (over 4gb). When it's finished backing up it will give you a report thing saying "big files: # ... split files:# ... files:#"
If there are any big or split files it can't be played from external hdd (some big files and PSARC files which can be extracted and this will sometimes let them be played).

ok thanks i tried multiman it didnt even shoe after back up then with rogero manager said couldnt play split games i thought the new multiman works with ntfs but it wouldnt read my ntfs external bc i know that will play bc it dont have the 4gb limit

You can't play backups off NTFS. All you can do is copy over the files from NTFS. Support was added so that people could download a game onto NTFS and copy to internal. It's 'read only' access.
And to get it to show up on MM there is a shortcut that you have to press on ps3 controller but I can't remember what it is (look in the controls of MultiMan)
