You edit the comment file which is at /dev_hdd0/home/########/friendim/ #=a random number which corresponds to when you made that account on your ps3. Then you should find a mecomment.dat file which you require to edit.
When editing to get it below your PSN ID by typing 0A in about 11-13 times depending on how far down you want your comment to be. Then type your comment.
Yes you can data transfer it I believe or atleast you used to be able to on 3.41 -3.56 shouldn't have changed.
