something on your hardware are wrong cuz thats whats hapen...

mmm yeah change the HDD but again if something is wrong with your hardware, wifi card, blueray, memscard reader etc etc you will be always on the infinite loop of the update.....

Only have one usb in your ps3, closest to the blue ray drive. Worked for me.
