1st of all geohot didnt sue sony. sony sued geohotz. so why is it pointless if he didnt accomplish anything . he got off free because he didnt do anything illegal. and if u really wanted to know after reading the docs you should have read his blog. theres a law suit in process for the other o.s. and he is also waiting to see the outcome of that. basically they couldnt do nothing to him because its not illegal just because sony says its illegal doesnt make it a fact. when a court says it then its diffrent. and geohotz states all this on his blog. but he also stated that playstation can fix the exploit easily. which is what they should do and bring back o.s. (what i gathered from my reading) . so i hope i helped you
