(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, A friend of mine has an old Fat PS3, that was workng fine up until about a month ago or so, one day she turned it on, and nothing showed up on screen. No yellow light, no red screen that would indicate a system brick, or anything. system powers up but a black screen is all we get. I tried to put it into recovery mode, and tried to reset the video settings, and nothing came up, Idk if im doing the resets incorrectly or not but yeah, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I swear that I tried that and it didnt work, but I could have been holding it for to long possibly? idk, ill try it the next time I see her

The settings might have reset, if you're using something like HDMI or anything other than the yellow,red and white cables plug those in and see if anything will come up on the screen.

for that you simply hold in the button till it turns itslef off. then hold it in once more until you hear 2 very fast beeps in a row ( beep beep kind of thing lol) then let go asap and thats just the proper way of doing the visuals.
