bluray broken and most games i have dont boot diskless

so im thinking

if i make a new folder in RWFLASH named "dev_bdvd" which is what appears when a disk is in the drive

and copy a copied game into that folder

would my backups work because the ps3 would think theres a disk in the drive

only in dreams mate. wont work that way.

you really need another ps3 ......

have u tried it if not how u know it wont work

my drive works it just wont accept disks so i cant put 1 in or take 1 out

i cant make a folder named dev_bdvd in the hdd it wont let me although in the rw folder i made a folder called dev_bdvd and just copied the "ps3disk.sfb" into that

ive just downloaded rio

it froze on loading screen thru direct boot in multiman

would load through last played game xmb

put that file in the rwflash and it plays now threw app_home/ps3_game

dont no if its luck or just i duno

Lol dude, the ps3 backups are made by emulation, not just folders. Putting it in a folder won't do any thing, as the ps3 doesn't know how to boot from there. There's extra hardware that is involved loading it.

mate ps3 arent thick there gunna relise that there isnt a disc so NO it wont work :L and no point trying

not as simple as puttin a disk in and loading my backups

ive had black ops boot diskless and it freezes on multiplayer but its a start

ive read u can dump a game to a external hdd and use that hdd drive as a bluray drive emulator "the option is availiable on REBUG"
