I searched forever to find this PSN ready CFW called Naima, and once I found it, it didn't work. I've tried all the jailbreaks, GeoHot, Kmeaw, Naima, but none of them let me go online.

I've tried to run several programs including Charles Proxy with PS3DNS v3.2, ****PSN v0.6, (the **** being f u c k) and those stupid methods were you set you Primary and Secondary DNS to a specific IP, but that was patched a week after it came out.

So, with both of those programs (Charles + PS3DNS v3.2 and ****PSN v0.6) I can "bypass" the update, as in when I go to log onto PSN it doesn't say I need an update, but it gives me an error code instead. Possibly my internet ? I don't know.

Main question, is anyone out there on PSN currently with CFW 3.55 ? The version doesn't matter, I have all of them download. (Naima, GeoHot, Kmeaw) If your currently able to get online, let me know whatcha are doing. It'd be greatly appriciated.

You can't get on retail PSN if your not on 3.60 at this moment in time.

there no way to get online with cfw apart from rebug but there fw let you use the dev server psn m8 here a link to the thread m8

Yeah, that's the vibe I was getting when I literally tried everything. I've always been able to hack anything I want, and it was confusing me as to why it wasn't working, and my final solution was the it wasn't possible !

But wait, I've never heard of a server remapper ? Or a rebug ?

juddylovespizza, is does that allow me to play on the same PSN that all of friends are on ? They have the updates like normal.

Yes it puts you on to a different PSN, as the normal PSN will not be accessible on rebug custom firmware, you can only add as friend, and message people that are also on this PSN. Rebug is a custom firmware just like any other, you just install it.

All games work online fluently via the use of the server mapper tool previously mentioned, you will be able to play with any and all people on the regular and alternate PSN. The server mapper is a tool that just redirects all traffic from the PS3 to go to the retail (normal) game servers instead of the alternate ones as if you don't do so games won't work properly.
