I have no idea what the difference between firmwares are or even if there are any benifitial reasons for updating.

At this time I am looking to get a FIFA11 100% vitrual pro.
The 1 i have found posted on NextGenUpdate states i need "CFW 3.55 with either Blackbox FTP // Comgenies File Manager."

Is this possible on 3.41 firmware or does it have to be 3.55.
Also should i change my firmware?

Firmware 3.55 is the best for hacks and all, you can do what ever 3.41 jailbreak stick does plus more, as my friend says 3.41 is history, nobody cares anymore, if u mean 100% virtual pro for trophies good luck because u wont beable to sync it online on either anymore. plus for best 3.55 is Kmeaw, his is just the best allows everything, somepeople are saying Rebug is the new best, but my personal opinion it is crap.

Is this possible to be used on pro club matches?

well the last step on that is to sign back into PSN on any firmware bellow 3.60 you can NOT sign in this is due to sony stopping hackers, but you will be able to use it to mess around with 2 players on the same console or maybe more, i dont have fifa 11 so dont know how many players it is hope i helped

wouldn't it be possible to use the data transfer utility to transfer the vitrual pro onto my upto-date consol and play/sign online

you wouldnt even need to data transfer, because the virtual pro data is stored in a save file? all you will need to do is copy the save on a usb drive, unless the save requires to read the hack that you placed on fifa 11, when you do data transfare you lose every thing on your ps3 hdd so you will lose all dlc, saves and anything else on your 3.60 ps3

but if the data transfer was not needed, and it was possible via usb, wouldn't there be no need for the 3.55 cfw? therefor i believe the transfer will be required?

No because you need the 3.55 for the copy of the various changed main game files, this can not be done on a non hacked console. The 3.55 CFW is needed for the file Transfer in BlackBox FTP or what ever FTP you use on PS3

ah i see, thanks, sowhat i do is transfer the modded save using the ftp bla bla following the steps on tutorial, then once im done i can just transfer the save via usb to my upto-date ps3 system?

sorry for late reply, right first your going to need You must login or register to view this content. you place the PS3UPDAT file on to a USB stick, in these folders, PS3/UPDATE/(then the file here). This will install your custom firmware, then the other file you will need is You must login or register to view this content. this ill allow you to copy the save, for your pc you will need Filezilla just google it because i dont know if you are a mac user or pc, x64 or x86 so will leave that to you. have fun
