Tools required:
- PS3DNS-GUI: You must login or register to view this content.
- PSI You must login or register to view this content.

1. Put the new CA24.cer in dev_flash/data/cert

1. Download PS3DNS-GUI

2. Run “PS3DNS-GUI.exe” and choose your ip and region

3. Go to Tools -> Rewrite -> PS3DNS – eth0 -> Rules -> Add

4. You have to write your original (banned) console id with no spaces and in the field “your original console id but in last number change it to 1″ do as it says (e.g.: if your original console id is “0000000100850008100dkwab4k957do200000000000000000 000000000000000″ put then “0000000100850008100dkwab4k957do200000000000000000 000000000000001″: (uncheck Response)


5. Click ok -> Ok

6. Go to your PS3, in DNS set in primary your pc’s ip (secondary DNS can be 0.0.0.0), activate proxy, in host enter again your pc’s ip and in port enter 8888. Then you can test to confirm that you have network.

7. Try to log in to PSN and you are logged in!

Now if you want to go to PSN Store, then follow the following, else if you only want to play online go to step 10:

8. Execute PSID (Sony can discover it, but they can’t ban you becuase you are using a blank console id, so you don’t exist, you are a bot ) and there click Square to change to a random console id

9. Try now to go to PSN Store and you will enter there! You can download what you want but I alert you that some things are giving error when trying to download, but the majority will download, including Killzone 3 demo

10. First confirm that you have your original console id according to PSID (important) then you can run any game and play it online.

Note: Playstation Home doesn’t work with this method, I am working in getting it work.

First of all, I'm a complete noob to the whole PS3 jailbreaking scene, so please excuse me if I ask something that I should already know as I've only had my PS3 for 3 weeks, but I have a couple of questions regarding to this method posted in this thread.

I'm currently on CFW 3.55 kmeaw, I haven't created a PSN account, nor tried to access it thinking that I might be banned on the spot, but from what I've read you can't access it (unless you upgrade to 3.60). If that's not the case, please excuse me.

I've also read that even if you don't access PSN, Sony can still detect if I'm running CFW on my PS3, so I haven't really blocked anything in my firewall/router so am I screwed ? I mean, when I startup games, it does detect patches, but I haven't downloaded any of them (although I suppose I can download them and install them?)

Now my question, using the tools and method in this thread described in the first post, is it possible that I would be able to access PSN and play games online, even though I'm not on 3.60 ? Or would I need to be banned first before I can try it out? I have no clue, for all I know I can be banned already without accessing PSN whatsoever? :bye:

I haven't loaded any spoofers or used Charles or any stealth patches either. So, will it work, is it possible that I could be banned already, anything that I can try to test it out ?
