Ok so i was bored and everyone was complaining on how they couldnt get to recovery mode on the ps3 for 3.60... so i was screwing around and..... i got it. im on 3.60 and just did the turn off thing a lil different. if this has been found please tell me. if this has not been found then i will prove to you and show a video TUT on how to do it. I have a feeling this has been found. so please be easy on me. im not as perfect as the haters want me to be. so hate all you want but everyone will know that your not being the adult about it.

I personally kept my ps3 on 3.55 so really this doesn't affect me if it is true or not.

But.. curiousity gets the best of us.

I just dont understand how this can only be a "half" downgrade?
a) doesnt make sense
b) If your firmware was 3.60 and now is 3.55 that is a downgrade.

In my experience with this.. When you go into the recovery system settings.. none of the choices do anything to help, factory restore just restores the settings to default and wipes the hdd.

not hating bro just telling it like it is. you honestly don't know what you're talking about lol. This method you're talking about has been tried by A LOT of DESPERATE people and it FAILED. There are people out there 10x smarter than you when it comes to the ps3 modding and stuff. Firmware 3.56 was released on Jan 26/11 and 3.60 was released on Mar 10/11. If it was as easy as you make it out to be then those people could have figured this out by now.

And besides, why would experienced devs like Matt/Kakaroto,etc be trying to find a jailbreak or a CFW for 3.60or 3.56 if they knew it was possible to downgrade? Quit trolling and giving people false hope because that's just mean. If you've downgraded your ps3 from 3.60, then show proof, there is no "almost downgraded or 80% percent downgraded" You're either 100% successful or you're not.

I have never said that i am smarter than anyone else. And even if no one that is more experienced than me has found a way doesnt mean that we should all give up!

I didn't say that you said you were smarter than other people. All I said was that there ARE devs out there who are smarter than you and much more experienced than you are at this sort of stuff.

Also what does "almost downgraded" mean? Can you care to explain that part to us?
