i have noticed a few people say you can downgrade using service mode but you cant take it off if your above 3.55 say if i were to go into service mode on my 3.66 could i then downgrade to 3.55 or 3.41 and then take off service mode??
your help is much appreciated

It's not possible to downgrade from service mode from 3.56 or above (sony fixed this...).

If you get your ps3 in service mode you'll stuck in it and cant change back (there's currently no method to fix this).

If you want to downgrade then buy a hardware flasher (progskeet, infectus,...) or a second ps3 with firmware 3.55 or below
