i think u shld jus update to 3.60 ofw, all the cfw are dangerous, certain bricks for sure, u will never recover from it, stay away, dont look back, and enjoy full uncomplicated fast reliable psn!!!!! lol

Steps of installing this is as follows:
FIRSTLY! Let's create some new folders. Delete everything off your flash drive. {Everything involving Geohots d/l.} Make a folder called PS3
Make another folder called UPDATE



Step 1: With the WINRAR downloaded, download the Redbug CFW. {Yeah, it's big, I know}

Step 2: I use Firefox when I download shit, because it's easier to access once something has been downloaded. Once Redbug has been downloaded, right click on it from the pop-up. (If you don't have Firefox installed, I suggest downloading it, and making your primary web browser.) IE can SUCK IT.

Step 3: It'll ask you to Open File, or Save File. Click Save File.

Step 4: Once it's done downloading, Right click it from the pop-up, and select Open Containing Folder.

Step 5: It'll bring you to where it's located, and it will be highlighted. Right click on it, and you'll see a list pop up.

Step 6: Click on EXTRACT FILES...

Step 7: Another pop-up will come up, and if you scroll through it, you'll see your removable disk. (Your flash drive) Click on it, then you'll see your PS3 folder come up. Click on that one, then you'll see UPDATE come up. Click on that one, and then just hit OK.

You're still not finished yet. Now you have to rename that file, as the PS3 won't recognize the file.

Rename the Redbug CFW to PS3UPDAT.PUP


Make sure it's your flash drive you're installing it in to, and not some other shit.

I know it's long, but I like my tutorials to be easy in explanation.

And I can't remember how I did the UPDAT.PUP ordeal, but you MIGHT be able to just create all three folders in the beginning. I'd try that first. Make a folder called PS3 Make another folder called UPDATE and then go ahead and make your third folder called PS3.UPDAT.PUP

You should be able to just transfer the PUP file over into that last folder. Try that way first.

I...don't...know how to turn it into a PUP file, and upload it to you. I tried with Mediafire, and nada. It's just extracting the download, and making it available via Mediafire. :fyea:
