(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, whats up? Today for Easter my parents got me a brand new 3.55 OFW 320GB PS3. I was wondering which CFW is the best? GeoHot, Kmeaw, or Rebug. I'm thinking Rebug, but what do you guys think?

Geohots is the one I used. It's the one I used before, and I'm back on it, with Rebug on top of it, and I dig it.

Put it on top of Geohots. Rebug is basically an entirely different CFW, so it doesn't matter which CFW you use first. You have to download Geohots or Kmeaw's firstly, though.

But foremost, before you do, you need to install this OFW 3.55 first, so it isn't Kakaratos BULLSHIT.
Want a tut I can make out for you real quick? A simple, noob easy one?

There are plenty of tuts around, which also contain the cfw files.

Juddy's tutorial for example: You must login or register to view this content.

Alright, I have the links, and steps for you. Here bro.

Step 1: get your USB flash drive, and plug it into your computer.

Step 2: Create a new folder and name it PS3

Step 3: Create another folder, and name it UPDATE

Open that folder, and place the OFW 3.55 in there.

Step 4: Download the OFW 3.55 here, You must login or register to view this content.

It's big, but it's right.

Step 5: Plug in your USB and install the OFW 3.55 first You can access this by putting your console in Recovery Mode To place your console in Recovery Mode, Turn your system off. Hold your finger on the power button. It'll beep once, keep holding, then beep again, and shut off. Once it shuts off, remove your finger, and place your finger back on it. Hold it down, and it'll beep once, keep holding, then it'll beep twice, and NOW you remove your finger. You're in recovery mode. PLug in your controller with your USB, then go down to the last step, 6, i believe, and then install the OFW 3.55 from your flash drive.

Let it install, and once it's done, you're now able to download Geohots.

Step 6: Go to this website to download Geohots CFW.... You must login or register to view this content.

PLug your flash drive back into the computer, and delete the shit you just put on it.

Create a folder called PS3

Make another one called UPDATE

Open that folder, and copy Geohots in there, and now you're good to go.

Plug in your flash, and go to your PS3 XMB, and you can upload the CFW from there. No need for recovery mode. Any more questions, let me know. =)

It doesn't matter if you're on 3.55 already. It might have Kakaratos or some shit, and Geohot's CFW won't be readable, or you'll get errors. So trust me. Just download that firstly, and follow the steps, and awesome. It'll be there. And to install Rebug CFW ON TOP of that one, go to this link, and follow these steps. Credit goes to ClutchLikeKobe for this tut. You must login or register to view this content.

You can just install this one on top of Geohot's, and when PSN is accessible again, you'll be able to play online with Rebug's CFW. You can still install all the Homebrew apps as well. Enjoy.
