you can go on 3.55 way better and you can get a signed FTP server which is better than comgenies :y:

I suggest you update to 3.55 Kmeaw custom firmware then use ftp server/file manager and transfer over the modded patches then update to the latest firmware to use the challenge lobbies online.

Tell me if you need anymore of that indepth.

As far as i no u wont be able to update ur ps3 will get stuck in an update loop because it checks your hardware and if something is broken ie bluray drive u wont be able to update
