Post: Rebug 3.55.1 help
04-30-2011, 12:59 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I had installed this patched rebug 3.55.1 which was stealthed and I later decided to revert back to Kmeaw 3.55. I tried to install ofw 3.55 but it always says applicable update wasn't found. I tried the direct kmeaw downgrade from system update from usb and it detected it but when it got to the install screen it said latest update is already installed. Anyway I can revert back to kmeaw 3.55 cfw from this patched rebug 3.55.1?

You should install 3.55OFW first, to avoid problems.

What do you mean? You have to put the FW on your usb properly
root of the USB -> PS3 -> UPDATE -> UPDAT.PUP (rename FW)

Idk, would it matter if you rename the cfw or not? Anyways I put in recovery mode and it worked properly. I really have no clue why it couldn't go to ofw 3.55 straight from rebug. Anyways thanks for your help, I'll keep it for future reference.

Yes, you have to rename it to PSUPDAT.PUP, otherwise it won't work. Hope I helped anyway :p
