Well to start, your ps3 must be on 3.55 also this will nit be easy. And most likely will need the power of a dev to accomplish. What this can do is make it so you can plug your hdd into your comp, and view the files as if it were from an FTP. Now what you do is create an app, so you can disable the hdd encryption through dispatch manager. To do this the easiest way would be to do it from Linux ( that's why you have to be on 3.55). Once that's done you can update to 3.60 and still have no hdd encryption. If you need help on this, ask Graf chocolo, he is willing to help any one any time with this type of stuff. In case if your wondering, yes this can let you change mw2 lobby patches on 3.60 without data transfer. this is not confirmed by me, but I know that it should work, as I have done stuff with dispatch maneger on 3.15, then updated to 3.55 ofw and it still worked.
This is like when people say "can I change stuff on a ps3 backup?) well with this, you have the same capabilities. Although this can get patched when Sony makes it so every new pup changes the dispatch maneger.
For noobs that don't know much about the ps3, don't comment unless you have read this
