Post: Question about lag switch for BF:BC

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi Folks,

I play Battlefield Bad Company on PS3 and would like to know whether it is possible to utilize a lag switch with this game. I have seen a lot of elite players show up in a game and they seem to dissappear/reappear out of nowhere, skitter all around and are generally impossible to kill even when you pump a whole clip into their face. Also, when they show up in a game the whole game gets laggy all of the sudden.

I've researched every possible explanation and can only assume they are using lag switches, but some people claim that it is impossible to use a lag switch on a dedicated server without being a host--I have no idea whether this is true so I'd like to ask the knowledgable users here--is it possible to use a lag switch in BF: BC?

Thanks.

well that is a good question, you don't have to be the host. like i play metal gear online and some games are on dedicated servers yet people lag/ lag switch anyways. so yes, people can lag switch on the game. but dont think all of them do it on purpose.

Very few games have protection like COD where you'll just reverse time if you unlag. My guess would be yes
