Splitting the files now will report back if it works and if it does u get +43

Edit - Stil not working getting a black screen

Don't split the files simply FTP it over to your PS3. The HDD has the ability to have larger files than a FAT32 external.

Personally I backed the game up to my HDD directly without any issues.

Also did you check the MD5? Perhaps the file was damaged during transfer.

Splitting files is extremely buggy, or at least it always has been for me so aside from splitting you have 2 options.

1) FTP the files to your internal HDD
or
2) Try out the NTFS option on Multiman. I have no idea how it works but it's worth a try! Smile

It doesn't. It will allow you to use a NTFS external to copy games to and from that drive, but you can't play them... yet.

Wait wait wait wait wait you've lost me, if it's copying NTFS to the drive then surely you can just play them internally as if you'd FTP-ed them? Or am I missing something?

Yes, you did lose me.

The internal PS3 HDD uses a Unix file system, probably EXT-3 which is why it can handle files larger then 4GB (which FAT32 can't). Changing the internal to a NTFS provides no benefit as it's current file system is designed to work with GAMEOS.

For what I can only assume are security reasons, OFW can only read FAT32 HDDs. Thanks to clever devs adding the NTFS library we are now able to read and write to NTFS external drives. However due to current limitations in the GAMEOS you cannot run anything in an NTFS format.

Multiman merely uses the NTFS library to temporarily read and transfer information from external drives to the internal HDD. Once they are on the internal they are no longer in NTFS format and can then be run using a backup manager.
