Post: Assassin Creed 1 & Multiman 2.00.001 Issue

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK, so I've checked everywhere on this site and others w/ no luck... I'm trying to get Assassin Creed 1 to play on Multiman. Multiman will recognize the game, but when I start it either through BDEMU or VIA INSERTED GAME DISC it starts, then goes black, then back to XMB. I've yet to have it lockup or anything like that. Here's what I've done thus far:

1: Internal Hard Drive & Multiman 2.00.01 Base (v1.00 & v1.10)
a: /dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLUS30089-[Assassins Creed]
b: I've tried the SELECT + X thing, but can't seem to get it working
c: I've tried the eboot fix, w/ no luck
d: I've played around with the settings in Multiman, w/ no luck

2: External Hard Drive & Multiman 2.00.01 Base (v1.00 & v1.10)
a: /GAMES/BLUS30089-[Assassins Creed]
b: I've tried the SELECT + X thing, but can't seem to get it working
c: I've tried the eboot fix, w/ no luck
d: I've played around with the settings in Multiman, w/ no luck

basically I have no idea... I see on the Multiman forum it shows that Assassin's Creed is part of the game list thus should be working, so what the heck am I doing wrong???

Thanks for anyone's help...
Dustin

Try a different backup manager, could be a bad copy, I know this isn't what you wanna do but try downloading someone else's copy... etc etc.

Just create an empty folder called ASSASSIN_ISO in the USRDIR folder in your Assassins Creed game folder.

For example, it should look like this...

/dev_usbxxx/BLUS30089/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/ASSASSIN_ISO

Make sure the Game Settings are set to EXTERNAL & BD MIRROR

that's all I had to do... I'm trying it now on internal w/ same settings except of course set to INTERNAL instead of EXTERNAL... I'll give feedback if that works also...

thanks for the reply...
