(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); God, I'm such a multiman newb.

Newest version 2.00.01 supports starting games with splitfiles - So it says.

I tried to start several games with splitted bigfiles in it - Resulting in nothing more than a black screen. On various games there was visible hdd activity when I started the game (probably caching the splitfiles?) but maybe I was a lil bit impatient, so I turned off my ps3.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to do it right? :pedo:

Have you tried starting the game with the BD mirror option on?? this normally fixes black screen games, whether or not it will fix a split file game, im not sure but definitely give it a go.

You mean accessing the game options in Multiman by pressing Triangle and check "BD Mirror"? Yes I did.

Do splitted games take longer to load?

Yes, split games take longer to load, not a whole lot longer though. Sorry, I can't help more :p.

For split file games it installs the split files to the Internal HDD before starting the game. That's how it works.

Iris Manager has been doing this for months, doesn't hide the steps so you know how long you need to wait. It can take upwards of 10 minutes each time you switch to that game depending on your External, your internal and the size of the file.

Which game do you have that is split? Also, what does the game look like on your pc when it's split. I use 4 G sp[litter program and most of the games that I have if not all don't have files over 4 gig in them so they never got split. I do have a weird occurrence every now and then. I'll finish playing a game and when I unplug the HDD from the ps3 (external one) and connect it to my P.C. the main part of the game that I was just playing gets separated from the original game folder that it was in. Then, I have to cut and paste the folder back into the original folder that the game was in when I was playing it. It always happens and it's the ps3 game folder of the game that I was just playing. Do you ever have this happen to you on external fat 32 Hard drives?
