[multipage=Additional information & source ]
*Games that are backed up with a file over 4GB require a certain amount of gigabytes on your PS3's internal HDD (cache) in order to play
*Splitting a game like Killzone 3 (25GB) and backing it up to an external HDD can save you a lot of space on your internal HDD (9GB cache)
*Certain games like God of War Collection and Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift will only save you about 2-3 gigabytes on your internal HDD
*Keep in mind that it may not be worth backing up certain big file games to an external HDD, for the reason I stated above

Splitting a game like Killzone 3 (25GB) and backing it up to an external HDD can save you a lot of space on your internal HDD (9GB cache)
But games likes God of War Collection and Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift only save you about 2-3 gigabytes.
So keep in mind that it's not worth backing up every single big file game to an external HDD.

So when it comes to multiman will the game show up on the ps3 twice saying its both on internal and external or can u delete it from internal after copying it to external ?

If you backup an internal game to an external HDD, it will show up twice. The game cover for the game on the internal HDD will appear normal, and the game cover for the game on the external hdd will be in black & white.
You can delete the game on the internal HDD if you wish, but I'd suggest making sure that the external backup worked properly first.

Should I make a list of games that don't work as well? You know, just in case someone asks if a game that's not on the list works.
There's a reason why certain games don't work with this method, and I'd rather not explain why every time someone asks.

Can you also make note that all these titles also work with Iris Manager and have for months?

I would like to see you add a list of big file games that are not working with mm.

hawx 2 ...works with no sound.
quantum theory..starts then loads game data to 99% and freezes.
note. never tried these copys on internal hdd.
