(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just a question about all of this, if it was done on a retail unit (ofw) could it have been done through setting the console into service/factory mode (or something similar) to set the flag?

its not worth to QA flag, as the real main purpose was debuging, its not like it does much if your an end user except for able to downgrade.

exactly, the method is so hard, that selling your ps3, then buying an older one and calling it downgraded is easier. lol

I'd like it if I could upgrade to play my games online legit.
And then when I've gotten bored enough to play my backups.
Downgrading back to 3.55 from OFW.
That'll be useful.
