For the most part yes. However I think there might be some game capability issues. That's why I think 3.55.1 would be better. I think Multiman fixes this though. Can anyone confirm?

Yes and no, they do the exact same things but on 3.41 you are going to need more fixes for 3.42+ games. However, if you were to use a 3.55 CFW you wouldn't need them. It's just a bit easier and saves some unneccessary hassle.
