(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so the past week i have replaced my blu ray drive 3 times. i will play a game then when i go to play again it doesnt show a disc. i am on rebug firmware i wanted to know is there anything i can do or no? is there an option for my blu ray unit? i am upset because i have replaced this with brand new ones everytime. and i cant play games without a disc in it i cant play mortal kombat or la noire any help?

It is my understanding that CFW has an issue with blu-rays being read properly. Just try to go to 3.55 OFW and see if the problem persists. If it fixes the problem, then it was CFW causing the problems. If not, then you just need a whole new laser mech.

welll i have had rebug on it since release and kmeaw for a long time also and it starts now? it doesnt make sense? if thats the case why does it work when i replace the drive?

Oh well, then I can definitely tell you what your issue is. It's your HDD. It's getting close to crashing :( I've seen quite a few blu-rays in the past go out due to issues with the HDD. Best advice, go to recovery mode-restore file system. Hope that helps. If it persists, then try installing a different hdd.

nope not harddrive i just swapped it and nothing still. and it shouldnt be anyway its new... if i go into recovery mode restore file system will it format the hdd or just fix errors?

Where are you ordering your laser mechs from? Please don't tell me eBay!

If it isn't the HDD or the laser mechs, then maybe it is the motherboard having damage. Maybe even get it reballed. If none of those options work, then it is a complete junk at this point. It's be cheaper to buy a new console.

Honestly, I just think it is the CFW causing the problems now.

i am getting my lasers from my supplier since i own a website for this. and i can reball my console but thats not the problem i have alot of experience with this stuff and i dont believe its the motherboard i believe its the cfw or bluray.

I agree I think it is the CFW. Have you tried using 3.55 OFW to test it out?
