Post: PS3 Harddrive upgrade problem NEED HELP BAD!

Alright today I upgraded my Hitachi 80GB harddrive to a new 500GB harddrive.
The type is: Toshiba 500GB, 5400 RPM, 2.5", SATA (not sata 2)

I put it in my ps3, and started it up. It comes with this message:

This Playstation cannot work properly with this HDD, please format and restart system.


so I format it, and restart my ps3.
Messege pops up again.

ANY HELP PLEASE?
Im desperate at this point.

The only thing I can recommend for you is to carefully watch this video and be sure you've done everything correctly:

I'd try to format the hdd in ps3 recovery mode.
