Today multiMAN version 2.00.03 has been updated to include the latest SNES, Genesis and now FCEU (NES/Ultra) video game emulators courtesy of squarepusher2.

Improved: XMMB Photo column display and navigation (no more image buffers release when full - a lot seamless now)
Added: Support for PNG covers for Retro column (408x408 max resolution) (408x180 for best results)
Fixed: Some issues in XMMB mode - all working much more stable now

Jesus, I just updates 5 minutes ago. The Multiman update feature doesn't see these updates for whatever reason. Downloading to HDD, transferring via FTP and installing package on PS3 is such a hassle when it gets updated everyday.

Still, Multiman is basically the only relevant homebrew currently on PS3 (taking into account it being updated and improved, other stuff has basically been at its peak since the usb jailbreaking was the only method).

You can see the version numbers in the changelog "multiMAN ver 2.00.03 UPDATE (20110602_163000)" where the first part of that (20110602) means 2011, june, 2nd. These are typically daily sub-versions for testing so that's why the update feature in multiman doesn't see them. The update feature in multiman only recognizes official releases such as 2.00.03 or 2.00.04 Smile
