(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); DIRECTION PAD
BYTE
SELECT = 0x01
BTN_L3 = 0x02
BTN_R3 = 0x04
START = 0x08
UP = 0x10
RIGHT = 0x20
DOWN = 0x40
LEFT = 0x80

BUTTON PAD
BYTE
LEFT2 = 0x01
RIGHT2 = 0x02
LEFT1 = 0x04
RIGHT1 = 0x08
TRIANGLE = 0x10
CIRCLE = 0x20
CROSS = 0x40
SQUARE = 0x80

I obtained this information using USBTrace, (a program used to analyse USB Output)
Now all we have to do is reverse the vsh.self , in order to find the combo.... Smile

Yea well you will need the lv0 keys. However once u have the lv0 keys there will be no reason to QA flag anymore because u would have full access to the console and do what you want with it.

first of all, i am still working on trying to find the combo,
secondly, if you dont understand how QA flagging, and have some experience with ps3dev, then i suggest waiting a while until a "n00b" friendly tutorial is released (If a tutorial will ever be realeased......)

Anyway if you can tell if the dual shock 3 and the original sixaxis controllers produce different offsets?

Try doing that with a fake controller and see the difference. I beleive you cant 'QA FLAG' With a fake controller..
Also You sure you are right with those values. Because lets say the vsh.self started off with 0x01 how would we know if its select or left?

i will test it with a fake controller later (when i buy one). I believe that it probably would be possible to QA flag with a fake controller, (well if the BT byte streams are the same as the original controller, and if it correctly emulates the sixaxis BT protocol and is not revoked ). and yes the values are a 100% right, and the direction pad byte isnt the same byte as the button pad byte
