HELL IS HERE
Coming across our news crunching desk this early morning is Easy Spoof TCL Mod, by Unknown authors!
Now this is just a simple command file for those using MFW Builder to allow you to spoof your PS3 custom firmware file to older (why?) or latest version number which is now v3.65 thanks to Sony’s recent E3 special update (currently optional, I wonder why?), or even for better laughs you can spoof to v6.60 or v9.90 (but don’t do the later, as you might not be able to update ever again, or even downgrade!)
Again these forms of spoofing is only useful to display to a dumb PS3 owner that your system already has the latest update installed, so incase your cousin is over, and turns on your super-duper custom PS3 and sticks in the latest hottest game or even worse goes online, you will not be face with the horrible after fact of now owning a useless updated PS3 console running stock original factory firmware.
And one last thing, don’t think this will allow you to get back onto the PSN Network, it is only a version spoof, nothing more, nothing else, it only stops PS3 updates, does not even allow you to play newer games.

Now to make use of this you need to download from Codename: REBUG their official untouched custom firmware for v3.55.1, then download this BSpatch file and apply it to get you a new “PS3 Advanced Mode CFW PUP” file that you then flash to your console.
First, I don’t recommend you suddenly jumping into the hot frying pan and start downloading and flashing your PS3 console unless you are already totally familar with flashing custom firmwares, and know what to do if something goes wrong!
Second, just because they say (hint hint) in regard to just after them saying it has dev_blind in it, does not mean it can in-fact go online correctly with the PSN network with all the features of the latest stock retail firmware, but it just might as it was not something I was willing to test.
Finally, I did test the Black Screen Fix and it did in-fact run some games (like Uncharted 2), that I was originally having problems running after updating my PS3 to the official Codename: REBUG firmware, and the advance mode menu looks neat, I just wish I had the time to write an in-depth review after trying out all the various options

1. advanced mode patch is just in rebug selector as debug menu 2
2. also the 3.61 spoofer on this patch is just like the other unofficial spoofer.. but it's pointless because we get the 80710101 dns error which must mean that it blocks psn access totally.
and as for the Easy Spoof TCL Mod it doesn't even work in mfw bulider 0.2 just gives me an error.
this is just so lame and a waste of time

LOL. Youre not downgrading bc your still on 3.55, just spoofed to 3.61. Use recovery mode and you can install any other 3.55.
quite correct i should have stated it that it was removing spoof via dev_blind method not downgrading.
but lets not forget i was reporting that the ps3 will not access the psn or pass connection test due to a bug producing the 80710101 error dns failed.
and no one knows what or if the settings do / work.

This is not pointless..dual networks and fixed the blackscreen on games that we was not able to play.Its not our fault that all you do is look for a easy way to get on psn,IF YOU DO MORE READING AROUND THE WEB YOU WOULD KNOW WHATS REALLY GOING ON . This is a step forward on many things to come,It seems to me everyone starts crying because certain people want everyone else to fix it all for them.

I would agree however the OP specifically stated there was a good chance of PSN access, so you should be able to understand his frustration.
