So I was wanting to get a second PS3 to put a CFW on it. Yesterday, I updated my 1st PS3 to 3.66. Today, I was bored, so I decided to look at the info on different stuff. On the Data Transfer info, I found this. Does this mean I can't mod W@W anymore? Would my only other option be to sell the PS3 on OFW 3.66 and buy one on 3.61 or something?

Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. They finally wised up to how people were still doing modded lobbies using the data transfer method.

Oh well, at least it will cut down on the challenge/modded lobby threads.

I don't think that it ever said that you had to update the system firmware before using the data transfer before......

Try using spoof 3.65 on your 3.55 ps3

Crap dude, never thought of that. I'm gonna try that and not update my PS3 again until I do. Just gotta learn how to spoof.

Can anyone tell me this: if I updated my PS3 when a new OFW comes out would I lose the modded patches? I'm thinking no right now, but I wanna make sure.

The website doesn't have spoofer for 3.65. What is QA Flag? Searched through threads and google and only learned that you can downgrade using it and that you can unlock more options in the firmware.

Yes they created the spoofer man Just search it on the website You must login or register to view this content. there you go spoofer 3.65 and with Qa flag we will able to play online again with homebrew, sony cant do anything coz qa flag its not on the firmware, you should visit other post in "Ps3 exploits and hacks section", there´s a lot of threads that could help u out
