Gitbrew just announced a tool that will allow you to QA Flag your PS3 in the most simplest way possible. What is QA Flag you ask? QA Flag is the internal console flag used by Sony, it basically enables you to view/use hidden option which are only accessible to QA centers and the R&

OtherOS++ 3.41 CFW PUP
(this fw can be created in PS3mfw with patches from the git repos)

|Instruction|
1) Download the Otheros++ .pup from above
2) Install that on your PS3
3)Once Otheros++ is installed, Run qa_flag.pkg if you hear a beep, it worked.
*If not, dump your debug messages via udp_printf on linux and send toYou must login or register to view this content. to fix.
4)Reboot the ps3
5)Go to network settings (Do not enter it) and hit or hold
L1+L2+L3+R1+R2+down on the dpad
6)QA auto flagging is now done
7)Turn on the 'system update debug' in the debug settings
8 )Do a system update back to your CFW i.e. Kmeaw, GeoHot, Waninkoko, etc

Yeah I think I had online for like 2 weeks, then PSN went down and the updates and what not. I've just been trying to be patient and staying on 3.55. Hopefully all the waiting is going to pay off.

After asking in the #ps3dev chatroom. It appears that we only have a piece of the ps3 QA flagged. Apparently there are like two others that people are working out. Which are the ones that math said enables warez.
But for some reason I have dlc working that I didn't buy but it could just be a random exception =D

Yeah I tried the No Entitlement, unexpected error, off, and the other one (I don't have my ps3 on atm).

Nope the devs didn't say why but others said that we didn't have the 3.60 keys so the ps3 can't read it.........(or something like that)

Thats because they only gave us the Minimal flag and not the advanced flag. I think they were lying to us. There is no partial flag is there?
