Gitbrew just announced a tool that will allow you to QA Flag your PS3 in the most simplest way possible. What is QA Flag you ask? QA Flag is the internal console flag used by Sony, it basically enables you to view/use hidden option which are only accessible to QA centers and the R&Awesome face Departmens, until now. OtherOS++ 3.41 CFW PUP
(this fw can be created in PS3mfw with patches from the git repos)

|Instruction|
1) Download the Otheros++ .pup from above
2) Install that on your PS3
3)Once Otheros++ is installed, Run qa_flag.pkg if you hear a beep, it worked.
*If not, dump your debug messages via udp_printf on linux and send toYou must login or register to view this content. to fix.
4)Reboot the ps3
5)Go to network settings (Do not enter it) and hit or hold
L1+L2+L3+R1+R2+down on the dpad
6)QA auto flagging is now done
7)Turn on the 'system update debug' in the debug settings
8 )Do a system update back to your CFW i.e. Kmeaw, GeoHot, Waninkoko, etc

Who’s Jim Erased?
So i did this, and my uhh ps3 DID beep after running the QA flag thing. I followed the tut like you said, hovered over network and pressed L1 - L2 - L3 - R1 - R2 - DOWN but nothing happened except it highlighted the debug settings lol. was there something suppose to happen?

that was supposed to happen.... it gives you extra settings

it probably might work with 3.66. they only changed system stabality not all fw keys or root keys

I'm currently on 3.66 OFW, will I ever be able to play backups again? **** sony, please find those keys :y:

you do realize that you push them all at the same time right? lol Happy

Yeah found that out a little while ago i found it very simple to press L1 L2 + R1 R2 then press L3 with my nose then press down with my tongue it works pretty well.
