If you do not want keep your PS3 QA Flaged anymore, well then you can now simply remove it. A while ago Gitbrew announced he has released a tool that will allow you to remove the QA Flag and return your PS3 to normal state. |Instruction|
1.Download the .PKG provided above
2. Install it on your Flaged PS3
3. Run reset_qa_flag.pkg , If you hear a beep it worked.
*If not dump your debug messages via udp_printf_client in linux and send it to You must login or register to view this content..
4. Reboot the ps3
5. QA Flag is now set to default (Off) Your PS3 is now normal again.

Does that mean that all games I downloaded and activated when the prod-qa was working will be deactivated? I have Dungeon Hunter and Plants vs. Zombies ... will this remove the license ?
And also I have downloaded over 300 songs for RB 2 .... will the flag remove them also ?

So basically your saying to make sure I copy my act.dat to a usb before I qa flag my ps3? Thanks and I am sorry for your loss. I might try this later as I can get everything back on my second ps3 ill put in a new hdd on my ps3 before I qa flag and then copy the act.dat then replace it back with file manager. That should work right?
