These tools only work on 3.55 and below. These tools WILL format your ps3. Any and ALL psn / downloaded data will be erased! The lowest firmware you can go to is what was originally on your ps3 originally!

i think it would be if we have the full qa flag bud then we could be on any firmware we wanted

You know if someone wanted to say make a pkg that allowed access to the update module on the ps3... and say it happened to be signed with the keys for fw 3.56 and up... we could keep our homebrew on 3.55 and just be able to go to 3.66+ and play regular if the devs want to keep cfw and ofw separate this could be a way to do it... cause if we can get access to that code modify it to read the update to 3.55 downgrade via the qa flag then we would be set... still a matter of finding and identifying those stupid keys though which I guess is the real kicker in the first place...

I was able to downgrade from the XMB. you just go to debug settings, and switch "system update debug" to on and go to system update. That works as well

That didn't work for some people so gitbrew released this.

Yeah me too. I wanna get back online again and I also wanna be able to play 3.6+ Games. That would make CFW 10000 times better.
