We just got a tweet not too long ago from gitbrew that they have updated their page with currently tested OS that install on the PS3. It seems that firmware 3.55 is in the lead as of now with the most OS. As you can see below, there are still more OS that have not been tested. Refer to the chart below for more details.

If you would like for gitbrew to try an OS that is not on the list, just shoot them a tweet. Also if you have confirmation of other OS working, then let them know and they will add it on the list.

i meen gitbrew in general has been comeing up with loads recently
