Post: Help me decide NGU!!!!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a 250 GB PS3 with CFW. I’m done waiting for a new 3.55+ CFW! I want to update and play with my 3.66 OFW friends. I did enjoy all the great apps Multiman, Snesx, FBA, etc… and I do thank all the Devs on the PS3 jailbreak scenes for all that, but I just don’t think there will ever be a new CFW that would allow us to play with our 3.66 OFW’s friends; one because everything the Devs are doing for US and TO the PS3 Is breaking the PS3 Terms and Agreement and in some places it’s illegal to and who would risk getting tracked/sued/JAILED just for releasing to the public a 3.55+ CFW with PSN access?! Devs are getting sued and sent to jail just for doing those stuff to the PS3. Not only would that CFW enable piracy but people are going to abuse it. That’s what Devs risk maybe even more IDK.

Anyway I was thinking of updating my PS3 because I’m going to buy a new one on October anyway, but I don’t know if I should update it because what if by October all the PS3’s that are being sold by that time are going to be updated like the PSP’s for example but the difference is PSP jailbreak Devs keep up to date with their CFW’s. Apple Ipod/Iphone Devs are doing the same thing they are keeping themselves Up to date with those FW’s PS3 is NOT! What should I do!?? I don’t want to wait no more. Should I update?!

Help me DECIDE NGU bros!
Answer with all the knowledge and experiences you have on this topic. If you say I should update make sure you say WHY. Same for if I should'nt update. Have good reasons for that certain answer. Smile

Chances are that if you buy a new PS3 later then it will be on a firmware above 3.55 and you will not be able to use CFW on it so if you are wanting to have CFW later on then you should just wait.
