well maybe the blu ray rive has to be broke in a certain way cause i have normal wananikoko firmware and it works fine even though bd doesnt work

Coding please help! I formatted my hdd and then put the ps3 in recovery mode I cleared out everything of the root of my usb stick then put PS3 then UPDATE then the BDB file which is named TripBDBv3.pup I then go to my ps3 put it in the fourth usb port and try to update it through recovery mode but all it says is checking... Please Wait
Now it's saying no applicable update data found

rename the triplebdb to ps3updat.pup
