as far as i am aware you need an "infectus chip", knowledge of disassembling a ps3, some really good soldering skills, and a VERY steady hand... google "un brick ps3 with infectus" im sure you will find what information you need... GOOD LUCK, you WILL need it BUT otherwise you have a very expensive doorstop :mad:

My guess is that he saw the post of being able to "downgrade" LOL i mean if you had common sense you would really think that spamming the cirlce button or holding the eject button and pulling cable out while trying to update hmmm NO THANK YOU hence the big BOLD capital letters that sony put on the screen "DONT SWITCH OFF OR UNPLUG POWER DURING THIS PROCESS" would have made people think not to but i guess people do silly things when feeling desperate
