Post: Regarding CFW on a PS3 that can't read Discs

Can I mod patches even though it can't read discs? For example, I'm going to mod COD4, but I want to know how I can get the Game Utility of COD4 on it.
i can simply just copy it from my regular PS3, put it on a usb, can put it on the Jailbroken PS3 that can't read discs right?
And then Data Transfer.
I just need a verification before i go and buy the PS3

M8 if u cant run homebrew and u want to mod cod4 codmw2 Ect. Contact me i know how to do it. thats how i do it. my ps3 cant run hombrew
