some new console still have it as i just bought one it all depends on how many consoles the store sells
you would probably be better off buying used
but if you get new if it gas high fw on it take it back you get like a 90 day no questions asked return

ur more then likely to get a ps3 with highr fw than 3.55 trust mee...if its not return it

i've bought a bunch of PS3's from all kinds of retail stores and they all came on 3.21 firmware. if by chance you get 3.56 or higher then just return it and go to a different store.

Bought from walmart as a test and got 1 with 3.60 and one from a differnt store on 3.56 . prroblem solvved
