ProgSkeet is a universal NAND/NOR Flash programmer offering a cost-effective alternative to industrial programmers.
The programmer is intended for three main purposes:
- Industrial: programming large amounts of NAND / NOR / EEPROM IC in electronics production.

Yeah ill be doing the NOR Flasher today as long as all my parts come in the mail (tracked via UPS all packages are out for delivery) and usually when i fix a Ps3 with YLOD the time it will last just depends on how much you run it and how hot you let it get iv'e fixed some that last a few months but im not gonna lie to you iv'e also fixed some that lasted a few weeks.

At least you're not lying. I know the soldering succession rate for a YLOD is pretty slim. You can just re-do what you did as many times as you need, right? It's not a permanent fix, but a temporary fix.

Progskeet allows you to downgrade your firmware, so if your in to modding games u could mod the gamedata again and play it. and if u r wanting to play ur modded gamedata online then backup your hdd, update, restore the backup, then play online. But u could most likely dump 3.66 keys to. not real sur as i cant test bc i lost my job and dont have the money to get progskeet.

also they havent released the tutorial on their site for installing and using it yet, so that could b a reason why i havent seen anyones research from usage.
