Now I saw old old threads about decrypting the HDD and being able to modify patches like mw2. What I need to know is; can I decrypt the HDD if not can I use a new HDD and put the patch on that and have the ps3 read it. Thanks in advanced! that method is proved not to work the hdd is basically uncrackable thats just how people thought hunter hosted lobbies back in the day
plus the ps3 will make you reformat and you will lose whatever you do to it anyways

You best bet is to find same 1 that is trusting and has a ps3 with modded patch on and a retail send them your hdd thay can install on there 3.66 Sony data transfer the patch then send back to u. Only send hdd that way it's only 70 dollars 4 a new one if that rip u I've done patches 4 people befor like this
