Now I saw old old threads about decrypting the HDD and being able to modify patches like mw2. What I need to know is; can I decrypt the HDD if not can I use a new HDD and put the patch on that and have the ps3 read it. Thanks in advanced! While there is a method to do this it has never been proven to work at all. (this came up around the time of hunters first appearance) Im assuming you are 3.56+ so there is no way for you to do this

you cant put a patch on the hdd you would need a file manager or ftp server both of which you need to be jailbroken and data transfer to a online console
