well lately my PS3 wont boot up correctly, it would say i dont have the correct HDD. is there anything i can do to get back on blacops though!?

to answer your question if they send you a different ps3 it wont be banned

I think if it overheats and stops working it is covered since it is a natural issue. Just put some towels over the vents and let it overheat a few times till you get the yellow light of death, most likely they will just send you a new one.
