Get internet connection for your ps3...lol

You need your PS3 and PC connected to the same network.

If you can't do that then connect them directly with an ethernet cable.

When i connect my ethernet cable to my pc then to my ps3 what do i do?

Start blackb0x then put the IP that shows up on your screen into filezilla and connect

What im having a problem with. When i run blackb0x or any other pkg like awesome manager, it starts up, flickers once and stays black. Nothing on screen. should i go to 3.55 KMEAW? or does the black screen have something to do with my no bluray drive?

I think that's your problem, I remember something ages ago about things not working if you don't have a bluray drive.

I also remember there being a way to use them anyway though.. I'll search around.

Just installed it and ran it on my PS3. I got a blackscreen from it aswell. Honestly im not sure what im going to do. All im trying to do is put a modded patch onto it so i can transfer to my OFW PS3 and mod MW2. Any sugestions on how to go about getting the mdoded patch on without a PKg?

Reinstall everything from the recovery menu and Install Kmeaw

highlight the original patch_mp.ff in dev_hdd0 one, then the other side of the screen, you should see dev_USB000 or USB001. Find patch_mp.ff, and do it from there. If you don't know what this means, then sadly, there isn' a tutorial on NGU on how to do this. Only Youtube.
