PSX-SCENE developer judges has updated his wonderful NOR flashing software for the Teensy++ 2.0 boards, which brings us to NORway v0.3. Again, this allows for the dumping and flashing of NOR-based consoles. Be sure to stop by judges's NORway - Teensy++ 2.0 Flasher Software thread here at PSX-SCENE to learn more about this great software.

NORway

This project has been ported for the Teensy++ 2.0 from the original NOR flasher tool (“noralizer” by “marcan”) that was used to flash AsbestOS onto the demo PS3 at 27C3, and for experimentation.

Changes since v0.2:
Dumping now only takes 45 secs instead of over 5 mins!
Writing now only takes about 8.5 mins instead of over 2 hours!

Changes since v0.1:
Documentation updated to include the required 3.3V voltage regulator.
Teensy clock rate changed to 8 MHz!

Ok, no you dont need a flashdrive (USB) for this but if you read that it doesnt mention it, so this if for teensy++ something that you dont have...

if you dont know what that is...
its a modchip that connects onto your nand for flash dumbs or whatever it may be used for.
