Literally speaking, you can jailbreak any firmware it's just about figuring out how. As far as challenge lobbies are concerned, you can host on any firmware already; you just need to data transfer.

I'd say sony saw the same post you saw so they released a small update to make it 3.70 in an effort to patch the exploit as quickly as possible. I'd say they'll wait till a more major exploit to release. Plus, they DID say it was only half-theory. It may not have actually worked. Idk about karakato. I'd be extremely surprised if either of them were lying tbh.

How can they patch the exploit before they know what it is? Sony will only find it when Gitbrew or any other hacker releases it, Look at Apple they didnt know the iOS 4.x Unteather Jailbreak exploit till it was released and now its patched, Sony will be the same, if they knew every exploit we would never have had 3.41 Jailbreak dongles or 3.55 CFW

You didn't understand what I meant. I said sony could have released 3.70 quickly so that gitbrew/karakato would release theirs quickly so that sony could patch it quickly.
