One of the key things missing for those trying to write powerful Homebrew Games is proper open-source documention and samples of coding for the very powerful RSX 'Reality Synthesizer' graphics processor found inside everyone's PS3 Console.

Up until now, all currently released Homebrew has been making use only of the CELL Broadband Engine with its many SPU's, so the graphics have been limited to basic emulators and very simple games.

Now thanks to amazing team of developers over at Gitbrew.org and those that recently donated to make this happen, they have released the RSX Documention, now homebrew authors and scene developers can sit down and study it, and you will see some vastly improved updated homebrew and better emulators and hopefully some new fancy high-res powerful games released over the up coming months now for your PS3 Console!

This is just one step in a long line of great PS3 releases to be coming out from Gitbrew group, so stay tuned for more news!

Its documentation for homebrew devs to help them access and use the rsx graphics processor on the ps3. It allows for better homebrew developed games such if someone wanted the could develop there own graphics engine and we could see homebrew games similar to full scale retail game releases IF they are willing to put in the time and the effort to do so it also allows for better game emulation we could finally see better emulators along the lines of 64 games and possible even dreamcast titles if someone took the time to properly code it. Hope I helped also next time post questions like this in the ps3 hacks and exploits question section.
